The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe takes place this weekend, but rather than all the festivities we usually see in Paris, will be competed for behind closed doors. That shouldn’t dampen what is expected to be a wet but exciting race in the French capital though.

There are five races to bet on the opening day of the festival, with six across Sunday.
Following the withdrawal of Love, Enable is a big favourite with most top betting sites, with Paddy Power pricing the two-time winner at 5/4 (50/1 if you take the William Hill boost we are exclusively promoting).
Enable is one of the most highly regarded horses in racing and is in good form after winning the September Stakes at Kempton Park just last month.
Stradivarius is second favourite with the bookmaker at 6/1, with Sottsass priced at 8/1 and the third best placed horse according to the bookies.
The section below contains the most backed entries at the moment:
The John Gosden trained horse is level on two wins with seven other horses and it’s expected Frankie Dettori will ride him for a hat-trick at the weekend.
Last year’s winner was Waldgeist, a French-trained horse, but he won’t be running in this year’s event.
Below you’ll find the past 10 winners of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe alongside their jockey and trainer…
The six-year-old won his last race out back in September, beating off a tough field, and also picked up a win at Ascot at the end of July. A runner-up in 2019’s race, at 5/4 Enable looks a sure thing. William Hill's 50/1 price boost on Enable to win is an unmissable offer!
Other each way outside punts could come from SERPENTINE at 14/1, and IN SWOOP who can be backed at 12/1.

Our Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Predictions
It’s difficult to look past the formidable partnership of Frankie Dettori and John Gosden for this year’s race, with ENABLE a clear favourite. The six-year-old won his last race out back in September, beating off a tough field, and also picked up a win at Ascot at the end of July. A runner-up in 2019’s race, at 5/4 Enable looks a sure thing. William Hill's 50/1 price boost on Enable to win is an unmissable offer!
However, MOGUL will be a horse to keep an eye on. The Aidan O’Brien trained horse enjoyed a good win at Longchamp last month and will be ridden by Ryan Moore coming out of the same trap as Waldgeist last year. An each way bet could certainly be worthwhile with William Hill pricing the three-year-old at 14/1.
Other each way outside punts could come from SERPENTINE at 14/1, and IN SWOOP who can be backed at 12/1.
