ATLETICO MADRID v REAL MADRID BETTING PREVIEW

Atletico Madrid lost 1-0 at Villarreal last weekend to drop to fifth, two points adrift of Real Madrid. They were aldo beaten 2-1 at home by Benfica in the Champions League during midweek.

The only player unavailable to Simeone is midfielder Koke. the Argentine manager will deploy a 4-3-3 formation and Angel Correa and Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco will fight for a berth upfront. Real have not beaten Atletico in La Liga since the 2012-13 campaign, and have lost three of their last four league meetings with their capital city rivals. Real Madrid are undefeated in their last 16 matches in La Liga while Atletico are undefeated in 35 of their last 38 home league matches.
