BARCELONA v ATLETICO MADRID BETTING PREVIEW
Barcelona started the season very good, winning in five out of six played matches in all competitions. Anyway, they suffered a surprising 2-1 defeat at the hands of Alaves and sit 2nd in La Liga behind Real Madrid who have a 100% perfect record. The Blaugrana enter this match following a 7-0 win over Celtic last week in the Champions League and their 5-1 demolition job of Leganes last weekend.
Samuel Umtiti will miss Wednesday's clash and Javier Mascherano will partner Gerard Pique at the heart of the defense. Sergi Roberto will figure at right-back while the midfield trio will be formed by Ivan Rakitic, Sergi Busquets and Andres Iniesta. Of course, Neymar, Leo Messi and Luis Suarez will spearhead the attack.
Atletico Madrid are undefeated this season but with two draws and two victories in the league they share fourth place with Sevilla and Villarreal as they dropped 4 points in clashes with just promoted Leganes and Alaves. The Colchoneros recorded a 1-0 victory in Champions League against PSV Eindhoven and hammered Sporting Gijon 5-0 in the last two matches. They have kept four consecutive clean sheets, scoring 10 goals in their last three matches in the process.
Diego Simeone is not expected to make wholesale changes to his starting lineup. Stefan Savic will continue to show his worth at centre-back, with Juanfran probably set to replace Sime Vrsaljko at right-back. Up front, Kevin Gameiro is likely to start as central forward with Antoine Griezmann and Ferreira-Carrasco on the flanks, meaning that Fernando Torres will miss out. Moyà, Alessio Cerci and Tiago remain out through injury.
