What are Decimal Odds?

Decimal odds are the modern standard in the online betting industry. Basically, you multiply your stake by the decimal shown and the answer is how much you'll receive in winnings - including your stake.

E.g. If you have odds of 4.00 and stake £1, you'll receive £4 in winnings (including your returned stake).

What are Fraction Odds?

Odds displayed as fractions show how much you will win on a bet compared to how much you put on it.

E.g. If you have odds of 2/1 and stake £1, you'll receive £2 in winnings (not including your stake).

What are American Odds?

Also know as “moneyline odds”, they indicate how much you have to bet to win £100 (or $, €, and so on). If the number is preceded with a "+" sign, then you would risk less than £100 to win a wager worth £100. If the number is preceded with a "-" the bettor would have to risk more than £100 just to win £100 of the wager.

E.g. A -135 favorite means you must risk £135 to win £100 from the sports book. So you either lose £135 or win £100. A +350 underdog means you risk only £100, but you win £350. You either lose £100 or win £350.

What are Hong Kong Odds?

The Hong Kong odds format indicates the relationship between your initial stake and your potential profit. They are like fractional format, except they are expressed in decimals.

E.g. A winning £10 bet at 0.75 Hong Kong odds would return £17.50 for a £7.50 profit (75% return).

What are Indonesian Odds?

Indonesian odds are like US odds. When negative, they show how big wager is needed for a profit of 1 and when positive, they show the profit from a wager of 1. Note that both 1 and -1 are equivalent to decimal odds of 2.00.

What are Malay odds

Malay odds are just opposite from American and Indonesian format. When negative, Malay odds represent the number of units needed to be wagered in order to win 1 unit. When positive, they express the net return from a winning 1 unit bet. Malay odds fall between -1 and 1, but cannot equal zero. Furthermore, both 1 and -1 are equivalent to decimal odds of 2.00.
