Players will have the chance to select their team and watch them gain fantasy points based on how they perform in the real world. Wondering how to participate in Fantasy Sports tournaments and win fantastic cash prizes? Read our Bet365 Fantasy Sports guide here, learn the rules and the best strategies. It’s time to dust off your managerial cap, make your key player selections and start laying the foundations for Fantasy glory.
What are Bet365 Fantasy Sports?
In addition to Bet365 6 Scores Challenge, a free-to-play prediction game that give players the chance to win up to one million pound, in August 2022 Bet365 launched its new Fantasy Sports challenge, an exciting cooperation with Scout Gaming group, a B2B Fantasy Sports Gaming and Betting provider.
Customers can select their team and watch them gain fantasy points based on performance in real-world matches.
Some tournaments will be weekly competitions, while some tournaments will take place over the course of a full season. Entry fees go from a few hundred pounds to just a few pence.
Top players will receive a cash prize. The higher is your final position, the higher will be your earnings, as this kind of competition is paying places just like a poker tournament.
A Bet365 spokesperson added: “We’re thrilled to launch our Fantasy product to our UK customers, and are in the process of delivering the same exciting experience to our customers worldwide.”
Bet365’s investment in the globally growing fantasy segment is a great news for the gambling industry. Their fantasy model does bear similarities to that seen at big US operators such as FanDuel and DraftKings.
Anyway, it is worth noting DFS has never been well received in the UK and that the non-gambling option of fantasy gameplay provided by the Premier League very much dominates the UK market.
How Does Bet365 Fantasy Football work?
Bet365’s Fantasy Football feature will offer numerous ways to play and include full season and weekly tournaments, as well as varying entry prices. The cost to enter the season-long tournament is set at £4.25 and the current prize pot exceeds £50,000.
Bet365’s rake on an entry to the season-long tournament is 72p which equates to 20%. The remaining 80% goes to the prize pot.
Bet365 is also offering higher rollers a chance to play with higher stakes. Alongside a game with a buy-in of £42.50, there is a ‘High Roller’ version of the game, which costs £467.50 to enter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will Daily Fantasy Sports become popular in the UK?
It's very hard to predict it, but if anyone can succeed, it's likely to be bet365. They are the UK’s biggest bookmaker, and the online betting company believe its user base is large enough for the product to work. The group reported revenue of £2.79 billion for 2020/21, up from the £2.76 billion it reported the year before.
Which are the Top DFS operators in the world?
DraftKings and Fanduel are the leading operators in America, where Fantasy Football is intended for american football (NFL and NCAAF), not for soccer. Draftkings launched a DFS product in the UK in 2016, but despite running for more than six years, it has not attracted much interest. FanDuel, also launched a UK-focused DFS product but closed it within a year, stating a desire to concentrate on its primary market.
