Carolina have gone agonisingly close to a perfect regular season as they went 15-1 with their only loss coming to the division rival Atlanta Falcons. The Panthers will field a probable season-MVP Cam Newton, and a star tight end, Greg Olsen. They also had a reliable back, Jonathan Stewart, running behind a solid offensive line.One concern for the Carolina Panthers is the injury to veteran linebacker Thomas Davis, who broke his forearm in the NFC Championship. Defensive end Jared Allen sat out the last game with a broken foot, but is expected to play.

Denver were less impressive during the regular season as they went 12-4. They did so with quarterback Peyton Manning starting nine games (7-2) and Brock Osweiler starting seven (5-2) in the regular season. Then, the Broncos came from behind to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Divisional Round and secured a 20-18 victory over Tom Brady's New England Patriots to book a place in Super Bowl 50. In that match, the Broncos' defense put constant pressure on Tom Brady and never allowing him to get into rhythm

Veteran Quarter back Peyton Manning has had one of the worst seasons in his career in terms of interceptions and and that could be a big problem against a Carolina defense that led the league in picks.This may be his last game in the NFL. Furthermore, the Super Bowl 50 could be Malik Jackson's final game for the Broncos. Several other Broncos players – most notably, Von Miller, Brock Osweiler, Danny Trevathan and Ronnie Hillman – will become free agents next month. The Panthers were originally only 4-point favorites when the line opened last week. Now they are 6-point favorites over the Broncos and this means that some pretty big bets are being placed on Carolina winning the game.
