CHELSEA v INTER MILAN BETTING PREVIEW
Chelsea started the campaign in stunning fashion by defeating city rivals Arsenal 3-0. Anyway, the Blues were beaten 3-2 by Bayern Munich in their last match on Tuesday, conceding three goals in first 30 minutes. Antonio Conte is expected to tighten things at the back as he need to fix up every bit of his squad with this game before they face Arsenal again at Wembley for the Community Shield.New signing Alvaro Morata is expected to be given his first start, even if Antonio Conte may opt to give Michy Batshuayi another chance centrally. Pedro will miss the match after his nasty collision with David Ospina in the Arsenal game and Kenedy has been sent home after being disciplined by the club because of comments made on social media. New arrival Antonio Rudiger should be available for the first time ever while Charly Musonda Jr is back from injury. Home-grown defender Fikayo Tomori will be keen to make it a clean sweep of pre-season appearances after playing all three friendlies so far.
Inter Milan have recorded back to back wins in the ICC so far. A first-half double from Eder was enough to help Inter to register a 2-0 win against Bayern on Thursday thanks to a brace from Eder in the first half. Prior to that, Stevan Jovetic gave the Nerazzurri a narrow 1-0 win over Ligue 1 outfit Lyon. Two consecutive clean sheets are positive signs for new manager Luciano Spalletti, altough only Spanish midfielder Borja Valero and Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar have been bought to strengthen the first-team so far this summer.
Captain Mauro Icardi is still missing as he is recovering from a muscle problem, meaning that Eder will retain his starting berth as central striker. Spalletti is likely to make some change in midfield, giving Gabriel Barbosa and Marcelo Brozovic a rare start as offensive midfielders and replacing Geoffrey Kondogbia with Roberto Gagliardini in the middle of the park. In defense, Christian Ansaldi could feature form the off, with Yuto Nagatomo making way and Danilo D'Ambrosio moving on the other flank.
