CHELSEA v LIVERPOOL BETTING PREVIEW
This will be will Antonio Conte’s fourth in charge of Chelsea following other friendlies against Rapid Vienna, RZ Pellets and Austrian side Atus Ferlach last week. The Blues started with a defeat against Rapid and then recorded back to back victories (3-0 and 8-0). Antonio Conte will use this match and the following ICC fixtures to translate methods to his new squad, which has been added to since his arrival with the signings of Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante and Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi.N'Golo Kante has yet to join up with his new teammates while John Obi Mikel is preparing for the Olympic Games with Nigeria. Diego Costa is apparently staying at the club and could start the match ahead of new signing Michy Batshuhayi. Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have both travelled with the rest of the team and could play at some stage.
Liverpool have won all of their four pre-season games but they have not faced any opposition of any note so far as Jurgen Klopp's men posted clean sheet victories over Tranmere, Fleetwood, Wigan and Huddersfield. The Reds beat Chelsea 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League last season before holding the Blues to a 1-1 draw back at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp could hand a debut to Georginio Wijnaldum, the sixth summer signing at Anfield Road. The former Newcastle midfielder could feature alongside three of Liverpool’s four other new arrivals, with Loris Karius, Marko Grujic and Sadio Mane all in line to play. Furthermore, the Liverpool boss has nearly all internationals back to feature meaning that England quintet Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge are all likely to feature.
