TRIUMPH HURDLE BETTING PREVIEW
The final day of the 2024 Cheltenham Festival gets underway with the grade one Triumph Hurdle. It's a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race, run over two miles and one furlong, for horses aged four. Unlike the Supreme Novices Hurdle, this race restricts entry to 4-year-old novice hurdlers, eliminating age difference from the factors that decide the race winner. This makes the race the starting platform for many young horses, and it is certainly a race to watch for the future.
The JCB Triumph Hurdle often attracts a maximum field so tactics are crucial, and prominent runners could be at an advantage by keeping out of the carnage further down the field.
And now we take a closer look at this year's JCB Triump Hurdle and try to determine which horse is likely to prevail.

Who will win the Triumph Hurdle 2024?
KARGESE is a classy mare from the same owners as Gala Marceau, who finished second in the 2023 edition. She scored in the Spring Juvenile Hurdle, having finished a place behind Gordon Elliott's Kala Conti in the Grade Two at Leopardstown over Christmas.STORM HEART was recently sent off as the favourite for the Spring Juvenile. He kept on well to finish second ahead of stablemate Majborough, who was having his first run for Willie Mullins. Prior to that, the our-year-old bolted up on his hurdles debut at Punchestown by 22 lengths.
In addition to finish third in the Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown, MAJBOROUGH also won his only start at Auteuil (France).
BUNTING and KALA CONTI finished 4th and 5th respectively in the Spring Juvenile Hurdle Bunting, having his 2nd start in Ireland, was doing his best work at the finish and actually came home the quickest from 4 out to the line. He also scored very easily on his hurdles debut at Limerick on testing ground by eight lengths
SALVATOR MUNDI chased home Sir Gino in a race in France, with the pair pulling 10 lengths clear of the rest of the field. Unlike Sir Gino, Salvator Mundi has not performed and shown his form on the track in the UK.
Dark horses?
NURBURGRING could represent Joseph O'Brien. He has won two of his four starts over hurdles and he is closely matched with a few of these.SALVER has been a winning machine in recent months. He won a Grade 2 race on his penultimate start and followed up at Haydock last month.
HIGHWIND and ETHICAL DIAMOND are two strong contenders for Willie Mullins.
At the moment, the most backed horses are the following:

Ruby Walsh's Tips
"Willie Mullins has plenty of runners including Majborough, Storm Heart, Kargese and Bunting. There isn’t much between them all so I’ll take Bunting at a bigger each-way price."2024 TRIUMPH HURDLE FREE BETS
