DERECK CHISORA v DILLIAN WHYTE: BETTING PREVIEW
Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora will only fight in a World Boxing Council world heavyweight title eliminator but the Boxing Board of Control withdrew the British title belt, which Dillian Whyte was due to defend.
In fact, Dereck Chisora has received a suspended two-year ban and fined £30,000 by the BBBofC, who ruled that the British heavyweight was the "main culprit" in his clash with Dillian Whyte after for throwing a table at his opponent during a press conference in Manchester on Wednesday.
Dereck Chisora has won 26 of his 32 fights, 18 by KO. The 32-year-old has lost six times in his career, with his latest to Bulgaria's Kubrat Pulev when they met for the vacant European title back in May. He came up short when he challenged Vitali Klitschko back in 2012. Since then he has wandered around Europe going 11-3. He has been beaten twice on points by Tyson Fury and his other losses came via a fifth-round TKO to David Haye in 2012 and a 12-round split decision defeat to Robert Helenius.
Dillian Whyte has won 19 of his 20 fights, winning 15 by KO. His only defeat came last year at the hands of current IBF Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua by seventh-round stoppage at The O2 Arena in London. His last outing came back on October 10th when he stopped Ian Lewison after 10 rounds for the vacant British crown. Whyte has a three-inch height advantage at 6-foot-4 over his opponent and four inches in reach at 78 inches.
