These two teams have not met since June 19, when the Cleveland Cavaliers upset the Golden State Warriors 93-89 to win their first-ever NBA championship.

Golden State Warriors enter the match on the back of 7 wins in a row and they are 27-4 so far. They are averaging the most points per game (117.4) on 49.4 percent shooting and allowing 103.8 points on 42.9 percent shooting. They also are the leaders in the assists stats (31.3), blocks (6.4) and steals (9.4). Compared to the NBA £Finals 2016, Kevin Durant is the new face in the Warriors' roster. The 2014 NBA MVP has settled in fairly well, as he is averaging close to 26 points per game, which leads the team, along with 8 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
It remains to be seen whether Draymond Green will play after the birth of his son. There are no other fresh inuries concerns for the Warriors.
