Belgium vs Italy Betting Preview
After winning the three matches of their group against Russia (3-0), Denmark (2-1) and Finland (2-0), Belgium also managed to break the resistance of Portugal (1-0), courtesy of a goal scored by Thorgan Hazard. It was a tough match for the Red Devils with many knocks and injuries. A test of strength by Roberto Martinez's team, which is unbeaten in the last 13 outings and has recorded the fifth victory in a row. Even the Belgian defense is not to be underestimated: they have conceded just once in the last 5 matches.Italy was among the most brilliant teams in this European Championship during the group stage . The Azzurri won their group with maximum points, having eased past Turkey and Switzerland 3-0 and beaten Wales 1-0. In the second round, however, Austria scared Mancini's team a lot: a goal disallowed for offside and a penalty not given for the same reason could have knocked out Italy. The match, which ended 0-0 after 90 minutes, went into extra time: here the goals of Federico Chiesa and Matteo Pessina gave Italy a 2-0 lead, before Sasa Kalajdzic set the result at 2-1. That was the only goals that Italy conceded in the last 12 matches. The Azzurri's unbeaten record, on the other hand, has been stretched to 31 games.

Probable Line-Ups
Belgium (3-4-2-1): Courtois; Alderweireld, Vermaelen, Vertonghen; Meunier, T. Hazard, Tielemans, Witsel; Mertens, Carrasco; LukakuRoberto Martinez is dealing with the possible absences of Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard, both badly hit during the match against Portugal. Dries Mertens and Yannick Carrasco are the possible substitutes for the Man City and Real Madrid players, while Leander Dendoncker is a candidate should the Belgian manager decide to field a more defensive formation (a classic 3-5-2). Romelu Lukaku will obviously spearhed the attack. No changes are expected at the back with Jan Vertonghen, Thomas Vermaelen and Toby Alderweireld forming the back trio. Youri Tielemans and Axel Witsel will retain their berth in the middle of the park. Timothy Castagne has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.
Italy (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Spinazzola, Di Lorenzo, Chiellini, Bonucci; Barella, Jorginho, Verratti; Insigne, Berardi, Immobile
Roberto Mancini is likely to keep faith in the starting XI that knocked out Austria despite a below par performance. The Italian manager should only make one change to his line-up: Giorgio Chiellini is expected to recover and the the Juventus centre-back should replace Francesco Acerbi and partner his team-mate Leonardo Bonucci. The likes of Leonardo Spinazzola on the left and Giovanni Di Lorenzo on the right will retain their berth, given that Alessandro Florenzi is not 100% fit. In midfield, Marco Verratti should get the nod over Manuel Locatelli while Domenico Berardi should still be preferred to Federico Chiesa upfront.

Belgium v Italy Predictions
Belgium is the team we have backed in our Euro 2020 Antepost predictions. However, these two teams are hard to split. Much will depend on whether or not Hazard and De Bruyne are fit. If they both miss, Italy would have a big advantage even if the possible replacements are not to be underestimated. Despite the two teams that conceded only one goal in 4 games (only England did better), we expect a BTTS match. For the final outcome, we back the draw in regular time. We recommend 1-1 or 2-2 correct score. As for qualification, Italy could take advantage of their "deep squad" in extra time and advance to the semifinals.
