Denmark vs Belgium Betting Preview
Denmark suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Finland but actually nobody about the result. Danish number ten Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest while teammates, relatives, friends and fans looked on in horror. Thankfully he has since been stabilised and now looks ahead to making a full recovery. The match was suspended three minutes before the end of first half and resumed after a delay of almost two hours. Denmark were understandably flat as they went down 1-0 through Joel Pohjanpalo’s strike.Belgium, the world’s top-ranked nation, can secure their spot in the knockout stage with another win, having brushed Russia aside (3-0) in the first match. courtesy of Romelu Lukaku’s brace and Thomas Meunier's strike. Since a 2-1 defeat by England in the Nations League back in October, the Red Devils have netted 27 goals in 10 games. These two sides met twice in the Nations League and Roberto Martinez’ side won both matches by two goals. The Red Devils will now look to get a second win and essentially secure the top spot in the group, allowing them to rest players on the final group stage match and prepare for the knockout rounds.
Best Odds
Belgium are favourites to win this clash (23/20 with Unibet). BetVictor offer 23/10 for the draw while "Denmark to win" is backable at 17/5 with Sportnation.Probable Line-Ups
Denmark (4-3-3): Schmeichel; Wass, Kjaer, Christensen, Maehle; Delaney, Hojbjerg; Jensen, Poulsen, Braithwaite; DolbergChristian Eriksen's spot in midfield will most likely be filled by Brentford's Mathias Jensen, but manager Kasper Hjulmand has options for change up top in the forms of Andreas Cornelius and Kasper Dolberg. We expect Dolberg to get the nod and start as the central forward, with Martin Brathwaite and Yussuf Poulsen playing out wide. Thomas Delaney and Pierre-Emile Hojberg will anchor the midfield, while Simon Kjaer will lead the backline after coming off just after the hour mark at the weekend.
Belgium (3-4-3): Courtois; Alderweireld, Boyata, Vermaelen; Meunier, Tielemans, Dendoncker, T.Hazard; Mertens, Lukaku, Carrasco
Eden Hazard came on as a second-half substitute against Russia means he will be in the frame to start against Denmark while Kevin De Bruyne returned to training on Monday and will be hoping to be fit to play at least a part of the match. Furthermore, Axel Witsel looks fully recovered and ready to play. Anyway, Timothy Castagne is out of Euro 2020 after suffering a double fracture in eye socket last time out and Jan Vertonghen took a knock to his ankle and should miss this one. Jason Denayer could find himself on the bench once again as Dedryck Boyata enjoys another run-out.

Denmark v Belgium Predictions
Denmark will try to bounce back from the opning round defeat. Playing in Copenhagen will help as they will have their fans to spur them, but it might not be enough. Although the obvious market favourite, Belgium still represent value and are well worth backing. A 2-0 scoreline is the most likely. As to the goalscorers, we back Dries Mertens to find the back of the net.
