HAYE vs DE MORI: BETTING PREVIEW

David Haye, who is 26-2 (24), has retired twice but, with an exciting new era dawning in the British heavyweight division, has been unable to resist a comeback. He realizes if he can win a few fights he might be able to land a big-money fight against either one of Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury in a huge domestic showdown. Haye last fought back in 2012 in a bout that resulted in an emphatic 5th round KO of Dereck Chisora and holds an 86% KO ratio. His two career losses came against Wladimir Klitschko in a dull unanimous decision back in 2011 and a fifth-round TKO to Carl Thompson in 2004.

He has looked like a bigger man physically than he was before his lay-off but it's also worth considering the shoulder injury he suffered pre-retirement. An important stats: 65% of all bets are on de Mori to win the fight!

Mark de Mori, 30-1-2, is unbeaten in 11 years and has 26 knock outs from his 30 fights. His only reverse came way back in 2004 at the hands of John Wyborn when being stopped early in a fight he was expected to win. Since then he's racked up no fewer than 24 wins and with 22 of those coming by way of KO/TKO, but with lower level fighters. His last fight was a first-round TKO over Marcel Zeller in October.

De Mori has punching power andd owns a knockout ratio of 79 per cent, but has a habit of keeping his hands too low. He isn’t the fastest starter in the world though and needs to make sure he doesn’t get caught early by one of Haye’s haymakers.
