How To Bet On Brexit - Betting Tips & Markets
- Written by David Bet
Needless to say, if you know enough about Brexit you want to put money on it, you should probably running Article 50 negotiations yourself right now. It’s a political situation that has dragged on with uncertainty and with it has developed a rather interesting betting market. Read here our guide on how to bet on Brexit!
Everyday something changes as the UK progresses towards leaving the European Union, with meaningful votes, new promises, failed bids to push the deal over the line and plenty of talk about the Prime Minister’s future.
Brexit has already been delayed, having meant to have happened by March 29, with the end of May now the earliest this will happen, with a deal or not. On 17 October 2019, the UK government and EU agreed a revised withdrawal agreement, with new arrangements for Northern Ireland. What that of course means is more time for betting on the market, as well as a few months of an insecure Britain of course.
But how do you bet on Brexit? Here’s our guide to betting on Britain’s negotiations in leaving the EU...
Most bets are offered as specials and there are many bets you can place, both serious and novelty.
You bet on them in exactly the same way as you would football betting or horse racing and simply select the market you wish to play, add it to your betslip, enter your stake and place your bets. It’s really that simple.
How long it will take to see your selection be settled, well your guess is as good as ours, but every option will have a definitive end and of course won’t be subjective. For example, you can’t bet on whether we will get a good deal or a bad deal.
