IRELAND v FRANCE BETTING PREVIEW

Ireland managed a solid if unspectacular win in Rome against Italy last weekend. They stepped up a gear in the second half and they really punished Ghiraldini for his ill-discipline as Ireland powered their way to a 26-3 victory. Anyway, they have been in impressive form in recent months as they beat both Australia and Georgia thus making it eight wins in a row.

Ireland have made two changes from the team that started in Rome and both are significant with Sexton and Heaslip returning. Hooker Rory Best has recovered from a concussion and has completed all the return-to-play protocols. The centre pairing of Jared Payne and Robbie Henshaw are slowly making a name for themselves as they continue to string together some great performances.

France looked convincing in their 15-8 victory over Scotland last weekend despite they failed to score a try with Camile Lopez slotting over five penalties from six attempts. They have struggled away from home in the Six Nations in recent years, winning just two of their last nine and both those victories also came against the Scots.

Les Blues have made just one change with Eddy Ben Arous handed a debut in place of the injured Alexandre Menini. They have plenty of talent in their first XV including the likes of Wesley Fofana and flying winder Teddy Thomas who are both more than capable of exploiting any defence.

Ireland and France will also be locking horns in the World Cup later this year. France are yet to defeat the Irish since Saint-Andre has been in charge having drawn twice and losing 22-20 last time they met
