MONACO v PSG BETTING PREVIEW
Monaco started the league campaign well, beating Nice 2-1 in their opening fixture but they have drawn each of their last two league matches. Leonardo Jardim's men were disappointingly knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers by Valencia in midweek as a 2-1 win in the second leg wasn't enough for them.
Monaco's only injury concern is Joao Moutinho, as the midfielder is still sidelined after injuring his ankle. Les Rouge et Blanc welcomed Fabio Coentrao, on loan from Real Madrid, and Rony Lopes but they are both expected to miss the clash. Anthony Martial - who has been rumored to go to Barcelona - will continue to spearhead the attack. Mario Pasalic should start alongside Jérémy Toulalan in midfield behind the creative trio of Ivan Cavaleiro, Bernardo Silva and Nabil Dirar.
Paris Saint Germain have secured three wins from three without conceding a goal so far in the French league. Last weekend, they defeated Montpellier by a final score of 1-0. They are at the top of the standings, two points clear of nearest rivals Bastia, Angers and Nantes. The current champions have recently finalized a deal with Monaco’s Layvin Kurzawa, after missing out on Coentrao.
The former Monaco's full back will not feature against his former club due to a thigh injury. Furthremore, the visitors are without Javier Pastore who is sidelined with a calf injury. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel Di Maria have both returned to full fitness and will start the match.
PSG have always failed to win at Monaco since the change of ownership in 2011 - sharing the spoils on the last 4 occasions were also held to a 0-0 result by the Monegasques at the Parc des Princes last season.
