Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Betting Preview
Jake Paul (5-0, 4 KO) returns to action after fights against Tommy Fury - brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury - and Hasim Rahman Jr were canceled. The Problem Child has only fought youtubers (AnEson Gib), retired NBA players (Nate Robinson) and former UFC fighters (Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley twice). In the first fight against Woodley, Jake Paul earned a split decision victory but in the remath he scored a vicious KO that confirmed his improvements in the sports.
Anderson Silva (3-1) is a 47 years old former UFC champion who has since taken up boxing. The Brazilian legend lost his first professional boxing match, but has strung together a three-fight winning streak, with two of those coming by way of knockout. The Spider has recorded impressive wins over Tito Ortiz (another retired UFC fighter) and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr showing good boxing skills. He knocked Ortiz out in the first round, but Ortiz is also 47 years old and out of his prime.

Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Predictions
It's a tricky fight. A younger, faster, and perhaps more powerful boxer against a the former seven-plus-year dominant MMA fighter, who actually has some professional boxing experience, 22 years older than his opponent.
Jake Paul benefitted from length advantages against the stockier Askren and Woodley, but this time his opponent has a 1.5-inch reach advantage on him. Furthermore, Anderson Silva is more technically sound (both Askren and Woodley never excelled for their boxing skills) and defeated the former WBC middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by split decision after out-landing him 99-53 in total punches and 60-41 in power punches. Not bad at all!
Anyway, Silva's chin has been violated many time in his last UFC years (he went 1-7 in his last 8 UFC fights) and we are unsure he can deal with Jake Paul's power. The Problem Child has shown improvement every time he has stepped into the ring, and we expect further improvement here.
As a result, we back the underdog - Jake Paul to win. All he needs is one clean shot to land in eight rounds, and it could be over for the Brazilian.
We expect Paul to be cautious in early rounds, so the KO win could arrive in the 5th or 6th round when the 47-year-old Silva will inevitably slow down.
