Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano Betting Preview
Katie Taylor (20-0, 6 KO) comes in the undisputed WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF lightweight champion of the world and will be defending all four of her belts here. Taylor forged a long amateur career that saw her win Olympic gold in 2012, five consecutive golds at the world championships, along with 12 golds at various European championships. She previously fought Cindy Serrano, Amanda’s elder sister, who she beat by unanimous decision. She was due to fight Amanda back in 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to that and many other fights at the time.
Katie Taylor's in her past few fights hasn't looked the most impressive. She looked unusually flat last December against Firuza Sharipova and had to settle for two tight decision wins against Natasha Jonas and a rematch against Delfine Persoon. Taylor has superior technical skills but many believe that the 35-year-old boxer is already slowing down. Should the win come for the Irish, it’s unlikely to be inside the distance. All of her last seven victories have been on points.
Amanda Serrano (42-1-1) is a seven-division world titleholder and has garnered world championships from 115 pounds to as high up as 140 pounds. she is not undefeated as here opponent, but she has not tasted defeat for the last decade and accrued a 28-fight win streak since her sole pro loss (against Frida Wallberg in 2012).
The Puerto Rican's power has become her strongest asset. She has a ridiculous knockout ratio, especially for women's boxing, with 30 KO's in her 44 fights. A lot of these have been in the first round, showing exactly how heavy her hands are. Three of her last five wins have come inside the distance and she looked very solid in her victory against Miriam Gutierrez in December.

Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano Predictions
This is a tough one to call, a 50/50 bout. Both fighters are perhaps too good to be stopped. We expect a very levelled bout in early rounds but Amanda Serrano could have the slight edge in later rounds should the fight go the distance as we expect.
