Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Betting Preview
Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) has placed his reputation on the line by risking his unbeaten professional record against a UFC fighter. The Briton had been criticised by boxing fans for taking on this crossover bout rather than fighting the WBO, WCB, IBF and IBO champion. However, a fight between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is also now on the cards, for either December or January.
It will be the first fight of this calendar year for the Gypsy King. After destroying Deontay Wilder in an epic trilogy (two KO victories after the draw in the first fight) he retired in April 2022 after knocking out Dillian Whyte. Anyway, Fury backtracked and returned in the fall of that year to defeat Derek Chisora via TKO.
He will be the big man here once again. Fury holds a one 1/2-inch reach advantage over Ngannou and outweighs him by approximately 12 pounds.
Former UFC heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou (MMA 17-3) will be making his debut in the ring. The Cameroon born fighter is a hard-hitting puncher and forged a successful MMA career out of his boxing ability.
He joined the UFC in 2015, and went 12-2 for the promotion. His powerful hands allowed him to knock Jairzinho Rozenstruik out with just 20 seconds on the clock. Ngannou also fought Cain Velasquez and knocked him to the canvas after just 26 seconds. "The Predator" won the UFC heavyweight title in 2021 and defended it in January 2022 against Ciryl Gane, but an inability to reach terms with the MMA organization saw him depart from the Octagon. Anyway, he tallied six straight wins before vacating the title when his UFC contract expired.
Ngannou is a "beast". He stands at six foot four inches (193cm) and weighs in at 250 pounds (113 kilograms) and has a reach of 83 inches (211 cm). He has added Mike Tyson to his training team to add some intrigue and learn new skills.

Fury vs Ngannou Predictions: Who will win?
Francis Ngannou built a reputation as a formidable puncher on his way to becoming UFC heavyweight champion. He has the Guiness World Record for the strongest punch in the world.
A puncher always has a chance, but Fury has already faced arguably the greatest knockout artist of the heavyweight division in Deontay Wilder, and Wilder is a genuine boxer compared to Ngannou.
The 'Predator' has never been knocked out but was hit with an unimpressive 59 percent of overall strike attempts during his time in the UFC.
Hence, we expect Fury to punish the former MMA champion who will probable need a knockout blow to win the bout.
Will the Gypsy King underestimate Ngannou? We don't think so. Tyson Fury is aware of his opponent's power and his fighting IQ will play big roles in this one.
We expect the Brit to start the fight cautiously and start pushing after three or four rounds when Ngannou progressively gasses out.
As a result, our prediction is that Tyson Fury will beat the former UFC heavyweight champion in round 5-6.
