PSG vs Real Madrid Betting Preview
PSG will enter Tuesday's match off the back of a 1-0 win over Rennes in Ligue 1 on Friday, a result that has left them 16 points clear at the top of the table. Hence, they can fully focus on winning the Champions League, which has been their aim since becoming a European superpower. They reached their first-ever European Cup Final in 2020, losing to Bayern Munich, and lost to Man City in the semi-finals of last season's tournament. Pochettino’s men have a huge offensive potential - they have scored 52 in Ligue 1 this season and registered 13 from their six Group A games in reaching the last 16.
Real Madrid currently sit top of La Liga table four points ahead of second-placed Sevilla following Saturday's goalless draw with Villarreal. Carlo Ancelotti's men have won just one of the last four games in all competition, an unconvicing home victory over relegation threatened Granada. Their start of the season was impressive and the Blancos comfortably topped Group D with 15 points to advance to the knockout round of the competition, beating Inter Milan twice in the process and winning all their road games by a 9-0 aggregate.
These two clubs have locked horns six times since 2015 with Real Madrid winning three times, while PSG’s sole victory came in a 3-0 home group game in 2019.
Best Odds
PSG are favourites here, priced at 21/20 to win this clash with 10bet, while Real Madrid are 27/10 with Unibet. The draw is backable at 14/5 with Ladbrokes.

Probable Line-Ups
PSG (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mendes; Verratti, Gueye, Paredes; Messi, Mbappe, Di Maria
Neymar is back in training for PSG, though he has not played since suffering a serious ankle injury in November. Anyway, we expect Angel Di Mario to complete the front trio alongside Kylian Mbappè and Leo Messi. Former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum will not feature as he’s been left out of PSG’s Champions League squad. Hence, Idrissa Gana Gueye, who’s back after the African Cup of Nations, is likely to start alongside Leandro Paredes and Marco Verratti. Sergio Ramos, who made 671 appearances for Real Madrid, will not feature against them as he’s suffered yet another calf injury.
Real Madrid (4-3-3): Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Asensio, Benzema, Vinicius
Real Madrid will be desperately hoping Karim Benzema, who has missed the last two outings due to an injury, is fit to start for them in the first-leg. The Frenchman should be flanked by Marco Asensio and Vinicius Jr. The likes of Rodrygo, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale are also options to feature on the right. In the middle of the park, Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are expeced to retain their berth. At the back, Ferland Mendy has been struggling with a hamstring problem but should recover in time to play in Paris. Dani Carvajal sould start as right back, while Eder Militao and David Alaba will form the centre-back pair.
PSG vs Real Madrid Betting Tips
This has all of the makings of an epic clash. It’s not a secret than PSG’s main goal has always been to win the UCL, but Los Blancos are built for occasions like this and will back themselves to cause Maurizio Pochettino’s side problems. We expect the hosts to win by a narrow margin, with the 2-1 scoreline our recommended correct score bet. As to goalscorers, Achraf Hakimi will have extra motivation to punish his former club..
