How to watch Italy v England
Italy v England will take place on Friday 23rd September 2022. Stadio San Siro in Milan (Italy) will host it.
The game will be broadcasted LIVE on Channel 4 in the UK. Of course, it can be also streamed live on the All 4 app.
Pre-match build up is scheduled to commence from 7pm UK time - 45 minutes before kick-off.
Italy vs England Betting Preview
The League A Group 3 standings currently sees Hungary leading with 7 points from 4 games, with Germany in second place one point behind. Italy have collected 5 points so fare while England are rock bottom two points in four matches. They face the prospect of relegation to Group A4 if they can't pick up the necessary results against Italy and Germany over the next week
Therefore, it will be the fifth game in this edition of the Nations League for both teams. So far Italy has recorded one victory (a narrow win against Hungary), two draws (at home against Germany and the 0-0 away against the Three Lions) and the bloody away KO against Die Mannschaft. The rebuilding process after the missed qualification for Qatar 2022 is proceeding very slowly.
England are badly struggling in recent times. Gareth Southgate's position as manager is not solid anymore after a series of poor performances in the Nations League. Two draws (against Italy and Germany) and two defeats against Hungary (including a heavy 0-4 home loss last June) are extremely worrying, considering that the next World Cup in Qatar (in which Italy unfortunately will not participate) is less than two months away. Another negative result could certify the crisis.
Kane & co. will still want to avenge the setback suffered in the final of the 2021 European Championships, when the Azzurri managed to win on penalties after the 1-1 in regular and extra time. The first opportunity, back in June, was wasted by Southgate's men: at Molineaux (Wolverhampton stadium) the reverse match ended up in a goalless draw.

Probable Line-Ups
ITALY (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Di Lorenzo, Bonucci, Bastoni, Emerson; Barella, Jorginho, Pobega; Gabbiadini, Immobile, Raspadori.
Marco Verratti is out and will be replaced by Sassuolo's Davide Frattesi. The likes of Sandro Tonali and Matteo Politano are also sidelined while Leonardo Spinazzola has asked for some more time before returning to the national team. The likes of Federico Chiesa, Domenico Berardi and Manuel Locatelli was not named because of injuries, while Nicolò Zaniolo and Mattia Zaccagni have been left out due to disciplinary reasons. Up front, Ciro Immobile will be flanked by Giacomo Raspadori and Manolo Gabbiadini who has had an excellent start to the season. In midfield, Tommaso Pobega will be handed a rare start alongside Nicolò Barella and Jorginho. At the back, Leonardo Bonucci and Alessandro Bastoni will be the central pair, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Emerson Palmieri the full-backs. Obviously, Gianluigi Donnarumma will start between the posts.
ENGLAND (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; James, Tomori, Maguire, Trippier; Ward-Prowse, Rice; Mount, Grealish, Sterling; Kane
Harry Kane is favorite over Tammy Abraham for the central striker spot. The trio of offensive midfielders should be composed of Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish, with Bukayo Saka as the main alternative. The midfield duo will consist of Declan Rice and James Ward-Prowse, with the latter favorite over Kalvin Phillips. In defense, Alexander-Arnold and Reece James are in contention for a starting berth as right-back. The other ballot is between Harry Maguire and John Stones, while Kieran Trippier on the left and the other centre-back Fikayo Tomori seem sure to feature from the off. In goal, Aaron Ramsdale now seems to have beaten the competition.
Italy v England Predictions
England have a very estabilished line-up while Italy are continuosly changing both because of the many injuries and because Mancini has to experiment to find new talents and solutions after having miserably missed the qualification for the next World Cup.
England are superiorior in quality, experience and motivation as many of their players will give their 100% to secure a place in the squad that will go in Qatar. As a consequence we expect England to win or draw (Double Chance) a low-scoring game.
As to Correct Score and goalscorers, we pick 1-0 England to win and Harry Kane to score first.
