Andorra vs England Betting Preview
Andorra ran Hungary close last time out in qualifying. Prior to that, Koldo Alvarez’s men pulled off just the fourth competitive victory in their history by overcoming San Marino 2-0 and lost 4-0 at Wembley. Anyway, it’s worth remembering that three of the goals scored by England came in the final 20 minutes. The Pyreneans have surely made improvements after conceding four goals at home to both Hungary and the Republic of Ireland earlier this year.England are unbeaten so far in their World Cup Qualifying campaign. They have five wins and a draw so far and beat Andorra 4-0 at Wembley last month. Gareth Southgate's men boast an 18-2 goal difference, having just conceded a single goal in each encounter against Poland (2-1 at Wembley in March and 1-1 away last month). As a result, the Three Lions are in control of the six-team group still, four points clear of Albania in second.
Best Odds
Probable Line-Ups
Andorra (5-4-1): Alvarez; Rubio, C. Garcia, Vales, Llovera, M. Garcia; Alaez, Pujol, Vieira, Cervos; CucuAlbert Alavedra, Marcio Vieira and Moises San Nicolas will all miss this fixture because of suspension while the four players who were banned against Hungary - Christian Garcia, Marc Rebes, Chus Rubio and Marc Vales - are all expected to be back in the fold. Cucu will spearhead the attack in a 5-4-1 starting system while the 41-year-old Ildefons Lima is another defensive option amid his side's suspension crisis.
England (4-3-3): Ramsdale; Trippier, Stones, Mings, Chilwell; Henderson, Ward-Prowse, Rice; Foden, Watkins, Grealish.
Captain Harry Kane may not be risked due to concerns over his ankles on the artificial surface. We expect Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, Manchester City starlet Phil Foden and Jack Grealish all feature from the off. Tammy Abraham, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Sako provide further options up front, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is injured. Kalvin Phillips’ withdrawal from the squad should see Declan Rice starting in midfield alongside James Ward-Prowse and Jordan Henderson. Reece James is unavailable while Harry Maguire, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham are nowhere to be seen.
Andorra v England Predictions
The Andorrans play home games on an artificial surface but, despite this apparent advantage, they have an awful record at home. England should make early inroads against an Andorra side weakened by suspensions. The question will be how often the Three Lions will score and whether the Andorrans can put one on the board. We go for the 4-0 scoreline, with Phil Foden our pick in the anytime goalscorer market.Love to place your bets on the go?
