SOUTH AFRICA v NEW ZEALAND BETTING PREVIEW
The Springboks have had a poor season by their standards. They beat Wales at Twickenham in a very tough quarter final with a late try from Fourie de Preez in the 75th minute. In the pool stage South Africa recovered from their shock defeat to Japan in their opening match but came through their pool in top position with relatively comfortable victories against Samoa, USA and Scotland.
There are no changes to the run on side that beat Wales. Influential lock Lood de Jager has returned from injury and hooker Bismarck du Plessis will also start the game. Veteran lock Victor Matfield takes a seat on the bench.
New Zealand hammered 62-13 France in Cardiff in their quarter final, putting on by far their most convincing display of the tournament. The All Blacks topped Pool C with four straight wins with an average margin of victory of 34 points. Only Argentina managed to test them as the Kiwi had to come from behind in the final quarter to turn things around against the Pumas. The All Blacks have scored the most tries in the tournament (34), eight more than the next team on the list.
New Zealand head coach Steve Hansen has made one enforced change as prop Wyatt Crockett misses out due to a groin injury suffered during last weekend's quarter-final match.
Joe Moody replaces Crockett, with Ben Franks moving on to the bench. Winger Nehe Milner-Skudder is also in doubt with a shoulder complaint, however the New Zealand camp looks optimistic about his chances of playing.
The All Blacks have a 59 per cent win ratio against the Springboks over their past 90 meetings. They have won 10 of the past 12 direct matches, including a 27-20 success at Ellis Park in July.
