Tour De France Stage 7 betting tips, predictions, best odds and free bets (July 10, 2015)

The 190.5-kilometer road from Livarot to Fougèes includes just one categorized climb, a Cat. 4 in the first 15 kilometers. After that, it's all flat and sprinters will probably contest the stage win. Don't miss our Tour De France STAGE 7 preview including best predictions and odds, betting tips on Stage Winner and Head to Head, bookie bonuses and no deposit free bets!

TOUR DE FRANCE STAGE 7 BETTING PREVIEW

It will be the final chance for the sprinters before they go into survival mode for what could be more than two weeks without a chance to show their fast legs. The final part of this stage is mainly slightly downhill but the final 600m are uphill at a gradient of 2-3%.

Tony Martin has fractured his collarbone and now the race leader is out of the race. This means that no one will wear yellow in tomorrow's stage.

Mark Cavendish has been beaten twice now by André Greipel but in both cases the leadout did not go according to his plan, leaving the Manx sprinter in the wind for far too long.
It won’t be easy for Greipel to take a third win. Lotto's lead-out is depleted as Thomas De Gendt, Greg Henderson and Adam Hansen are nursing injuries. This means that Etixx-QuickStep will have a relatively big advantage.

Peter Sagan he has been amazingly fast in this race. In stage 5, the Slovakian made a very impressive comeback and was clearly faster than both Greipel and Cavendish. With a few late roundabouts that favor his strong positioning skills, and the terrific form he’s shown in the sprints these past few days, he should be in the mix for the win.

Bryan Coquard is clearly in good condition after he won two stages in the Route du Sud and he likes uphill sprints while John Degenkolb would probably prefer a more challenging approach to the line and we are excluding him from our top selections.

Arnaud Demare is one of the fastest riders in the peloton and likes uphill sprints, but he can't compete with Cavendish, Greipel and Sagan at the moment. Alexander Kristoff finished fourth on Stage 5, the first time we have seen him contest a finish after he missed out on stage 2 when caught in the crosswinds. The Norwegian could be a good bet for the top-3 market.

If you are looking for a surprise or another longshot rider to finish on the podium you should go for Sam Bennett. No chances, in our opinion, for Cimolai, Boasson Hagen, Navardauskas and Farrar.
