Virtual Grand National: Latest Odds
CORACH RAMBLER will try to retain his crown on the back of a convincing third-place finish at the Cheltenham Gold Cup. This year he will be carrying a huge 13lbs more, but despite that, he has leapt to favouritism and is arguably in the form of his life.
2023 Irish Grand National winner I AM MAXIMUS jumped to second favourite when beating former antepost favourite and last year's second placed horse Vanillier easily in the BobbyJo Chase at Fairyhouse.
Having finished runner-up in the race last year behind Corach Rambler, VANILLIER will be hoping to go one better this year. He has just five pounds more to carry this season.
MEETINGOFTHEWATERS is fresh of a decent third-place finish in the Ultima at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival. He also won the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown, besting Grand National market rival Panda Boy in the process.
PANDA BOY was last seen finishing fourth out of 22 runners at the Dublin Racing Festival. He has run four times this season and finished in the top four on each occasion.
KITTY'S LIGHT is an experienced and proven stayer over marathon trips. Last year’s Scottish National-Bet365 Gold Cup hero only finished seventh in the Ultima Handicap Chase but an extended break could see him return to his best.
